    RSS Information

    1. What are feeds and how do I use them?

    2. A feed is a regularly updated summary of web content, along with links to more information about the subject. When you subscribe to the feed by using a feed reader, you'll receive a summary of new content when it is updated. Important: you must use a feed reader in order to subscribe to website feeds. When you click on an RSS feed link, your browser may display a page of hard to read information - don't worry, the feed readers will make it look much better.

How to add Sustainable Practices Headlines to your computer

With the ease and power of RSS (for "Really Simple Syndication") and a newsfeed reader (see the list below), you can receive the latest Sustainable Practices headlines on your PC -- offering the convenience of one-stop news gathering and scanning.

First, you need to set up a newsfeed reader. Go to one of the sites below and follow the instructions for doing so.

    A Sample of RSS Readers

The following is a list of RSS readers available for downloading RSS feeds. This is sampling of available online software reader programs -- it is not an exhaustive list, nor is it intended as an endorsement. These applications are not provided by us, and therefore we do not license or support them.

For what it's worth, I personally have been using the RssReader and it has worked well. Once you have your reader chosen and/or installed, highlight and copy the URL of the link (below). Then paste the link into the appropriate box at the newsfeeder site or in your selected News Reader.

  1. Sustainable Practices Newsfeed xml icon

Place the mouse arrow on link or icon above and click the right mouse button, then choose "Copy Shortcut". Start your News Reader and go to add(+) channel/feed and then paste (click right mouse button) the url and press ok.
